ZFH-MB Kit: ZED-FULL MERCEDES BENZ IR KEY PROGRAMMING & TEST KIT (Zed-FULL Accessory)

The Mercedes Benz key programming software for the Zed-FULL offers the opportunity to program new keys to a large range of cars and vans, whether it’s a duplicate key required or it’s a completely lost keys situation. One of the huge advantages of this Zed-FULL software is that on many of the applications the ignition switch module does not need to be removed, making the process quicker and easier.

The kit includes a ‘sniff key’ that reads the data direct from the ignition switch and transfers the data to the Zed-FULL. Whilst eeprom reading and some soldering skills are required on nearly all of the programming procedures, the process is made as simple as possible; often only needing cables to be soldered onto a board instead of full eeprom removal.

Another advantage of the Zed-FULL Mercedes Benz software is that the system is confined to the Zed-FULL device, with no extra PC software*, computers or internet connection required. (*access to the software is via the Zed-FULL credit system, LIFS subscription or purchase of the software to use credit free).

A full application list is available via the IEA website, and includes A, B, C, CLK, E, CLS, S, CL, SL, SLK, G, R, M, GL, Classes, Vito, Viano, Vaneo and Sprinter, and covers years 2001 to 2010.
It is possible to use second hand genuine keys, as the Mercedes Benz program has a viginisation process built into the software.  Keyquip Australia will be supplying this package as a full kit with all modules, adapters, sniff key, cables, sample keys and the Mercedes Benz Test Kit.

* As with similar functions on the Zed-FULL there are 3 different options for using the Mercedes Benz Key Programming software:
* Purchase the software outright (AU$950.00 +gst) 
* Use Credits (50 credits for each key programming)
* LIFS Subscription can be purchased (existing LIFS Subscription users can continue to use LIFS for the Mercedes Benz Key Programming feature).

For Zed-FULL Mercedes Benz Key programming, you may use previously used 'OEM' keys. (OEM keys should be erased before programming (this will use 10 credits if the software is not owned or LIFS is not active)), or IEA made 'EA' version (433 Mhz) keys or 'BE' version (433 Mhz) keys.  The 'BE' keys cannot be used with the Zed-FULL, but are produced by IEA.
With the 'EA' and 'BE' keys, for each type of version there are 2 different type keys.
* 'EA' version Type1: (AU$110.00 +gst) Used for normal passenger cars - Can be used only with Zed-FULL
* 'EA' version Type2: (AU$110.00 +gst) Used for panelvan cars. For these cars Type1 also can be used. The only difference is, Type2 can lock-unlock only the side door. This type is available only from IEA and can only be used with the Zed-FULL.
* 'BE' version Type1:  (Price TBA) Used for normal passenger cars. Cannot be used with the Zed-FULL, but can be used with other MB Programmers like Chinese, MBE Group etc.
* 'BE' version Type2: (Price TBA) Used for panelvan cars. For these cars Type1 can also be used. The only difference is, Tpye2 can lock-unlock only the side door. This type is available only from IEA and cannot be used with the Zed-FULL, but can be used with other MB Programmers like Chinese, MBE Group etc.

With the help of the ZFH-MB key it is possible to program new keys for some W203-W209-W211-W220 class cars without removing the EZS/EIS box from the car or MCU from working key.   Regular updates are being released.
